Wastewater treatment plants and lifting stations must be correctly serviced and desludged according to the manufacturer’s recommended guidelines,besides they are prone to breakdowns, and the price of repairing them can be expensive if not adequately covered. To help with this ever mounting cost (and to also help prevent breakdowns in the first place), AZU Water would like to suggest its own range of sewage treatment maintenance contracts.

AZU Water gives you the opportunity to choose between three service contracts: Base, Comfort and Comfort Plus.

All three options give you the reassurance of our 24 hour, 365 (ex. public holiday) day priority customer helpline when you need assistance. We will send out a fully qualified and experienced technician to carry out the repairs quickly and efficiently

 

BASIC AZUSERVICE

 

The AZUSERVICE Basic Service Contract is a 3 year contract in which we will schedule routine services of your sewage treatment plant or pumping station as often as required. With a Basic Service Contract AZU Water will make sure that your system is always in the best condition and is being maintained to the highest standard. AZUSERVICE offers a set price per service depending on unit type and any parts that may require changing will be discussed with you while on site so there are no unexpected bills.

INCLUDED

Electrical testing:

Electrical health check of pumps/motors etc via megga meter, phase-to-earth and phase-to-phase. This is to build trends to determine any deterioration in electrical insulation.

Amps drawn via clamp meter to compare with manufacturers recommendations and electricity trip rating.

Voltage/current trace through components.

All panel components for integrity, duty assist/changeover operation.

Alarm tests when applicable for: pump’s blander, hi-level, loss of pressure, loss of rotation, loss of power

 

Mechanical test of following items when applicable:

Pumps for blockages, defects, oil leaks etc

Hanging chains for corrosion

Floats for current depth, operating stroke

Pipework for splits, corrosion

Check valve for correct operation

Drive trains for alignment

Guide rails

Bacterial processes for correct growth (Sewage Treatment Plant).

Physical test of lid, frame and surrounding area.

Visual inspection of the whole system for defects.

Any causes for concern put forward to customer.

Up to one hour on site with a detailed service report provided

OPTIONAL

Deslage management: This helps to maximise efficiency of the plant and ensures discharge within legal requirements.

Sampling: effluent quality samples by accredited laboratories

NOT INCLUDED

Additional time on-site should a problem arise during a service visit, callouts, parts used at a service or callout visit, warranty repairs and labour – New components under manufacturer’s warranty to be installed at normal rates

Payment Terms & Conditions

1. Prices subject to VAT where applicable
2. Payment in full within 28 days of dated invoice
3. Cheques to be made payable to AZU Water Srl
4. All equipment and goods supplied remain the property of AZU Water Srl until fully paid
5. AZU Water Srl reserve the right under the Late Payments of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 to charge interest on overdue accounts at the rate of 8% above base rate.

Breakdown Callout Rates (labour e kilometres rates are subject to an annual review every 31st March)

Callout charges will be agreed before you sign your contract. Charges include: 1 hour on-site, travel and kilometres. Hours thereafter are charged at € 45 + VAT per hour. Saturday & Sunday Callout Rates: + 25%
Bank Holiday Callout Rates: + 50%

Cancellation Fees:

Type A :No remedial works carried out within 30 days before or after contract commences. If cancelled in the 1st year the fee is 100% of the 1st year, 75% of the 2nd year and 50% of the 3rd year. If cancelled in the 2nd year the fee is 100% of the 2nd year and 75% of the 3rd year. If cancelled in the 3rd year the fee is 100% of the 3rd year.

Type B :Remedial works carried out within 30 days before or after contract commences, or remedial works included in the contract, 100% of remaining contract is chargeable, regardless of year in which the contract is cancelled.

 

 

COMFORT AZUSERVICE

The AZUSERVICE Comfort Service Contract is a 3 year contract in which we will schedule routine services of your sewage treatment plant or pumping station as often as required. With a Comfort Service Contract AZU Water will make sure that your system is always in the best condition and is being maintained to the highest standard. AZUSERVICE offers a set price per service depending on unit type and any parts that may require changing will be discussed with you while on site so there are no unexpected bills.

Inspection Visits

All replacement parts (where applicable): Motor, Gearbox, Compressor, Pumps, Bearings, Drive Belt, Electrical Components etc (excluding vandalism)

Clearance of up to *one* third-party blockages: treatment plants & pump stations only (where applicable)

All travel costs and expenses

SERVICING VISITS

N.B. For the owners of XXX and XXX sewage treatment plants, an annual air filter kit replacement will be included as part of all COMFORT contracts and undertake at the time of the service visit.

If an annual service, or a breakdown call-out under a COMFORT contract units are assessed as being faulty due to flood water ingress, blocked drains or power failures/surges caused by external 3rd parties then AZUSERVICE reserve the right to pass on any subsequent costs for the repair of the unit(s) and any tankering charges for the removal of accumulated wastewater to the customer.
NOT INCLUDED

Structural parts & defects, including consequential damage.

PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

6. It is understood that in order to comply with the manufacturer’s requirements, the system should be desludged at the recommended intervals. AZU Water Srl reserve the right to view tankering receipts at any time deemed necessary in order to establish this has been complied with
7. All new Service Contracts are only agreed by AZU Water Srl as valid once a satisfactory site survey has been undertaken to establish the unit is fully operational. Should this survey reveal remedial work is required, then the Contract shall only be effective once this work has been satisfactorily completed.

CANCELLATION FEES

Type A- No remedial works carried out within 30 days before or after contract commences. If cancelled in the 1st year – 100% 1st year, 75% 2nd year and 50% 3rd year payable. If cancelled in the 2nd year – 100% 2nd year, 75% 3rd year payable. If cancelled in the 3rd year – 100% 3rd year payable.

Type B- Remedial works carried out within 30 days before or after contract commences, or remedial works included in Gold Star Contract, 100% of remaining periods chargeable, regardless of year in which contract is cancelled.

 

 

COMFORT PLUS AZU SERVICE

COMFORT PLUS contracts are designed for customers who have older sewage treatment plants and pumping stations, that no longer perform as they were originally designed. These can be adapted, refurbished and brought up-to-date/revamped. The cost of this can either be paid on completion or spread over a 3 or 5 year Total Maintenance package, offering peace of mind and the longest warranty scheme on the market.

With COMFORT PLUS cover from AZU Water Srl, if you have any problems all you need to do is call us. We then send a fully trained and experienced technician out to you, normally within 3 days, PLUS you won’t have to pay any additional charges for parts and labour, no matter how many times you call us out. The savings could be substantial, just compare the breakdown costs involved (which include parts and labour)

You won’t have to pay any additional charges for parts and labour, no matter how many times you call us out. Your COMFORT PLUS plan also entitles you to an annual safety and performance check which could assist in operational efficiency.

Access to our qualified engineers and technicians
Within 3 days service, wherever possible

We’ll look after your whole system from just € 339 € a year + VAT, or you can pay 113 € + VAT quarterly by credit card or standing order. This is the only cost you will incur, subject to the system initially being in a serviceable condition, and your property being no more than 4 bedrooms.
